Trailblazers is all about getting students outside to enjoy the great outdoors! Through monthly events and summer programming, Trailblazers engages students on Nature Trail at Bethel Springs Elementary School and in Garnet Valley School District to explore all things nature! Studying birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and plants, Trailblazers sessions are exciting, informative adventures for students! Get involved with our upcoming schedule!

SCHOOL YEAR
LEARNED SKILLS:
Join Trailblazers for an exciting after-school environmental education experience! We will spend our sessions on the BSES Nature Trail studying the birds found in our local ecosystem. We will collect scientific data using eBird and iNaturalist to study populations and migration patterns of species on the BSES Nature Trail. Students should be prepared to venture on our wonderful nature trail on a weekly basis!

Join Trailblazers for the environmental education adventure of a lifetime! Through daily field trips, we will traverse the Delaware Valley to some of the most beautiful preserves and parks to explore the worlds of bird watching, hiking, scientific observation, and of course, adventure! Each session will feature four field trips plus one day to explore the Nature Trail at Bethel Springs Elementary School.

Join us for the ultimate Trailblazers outdoor experience! Trailblazers High Adventure is all about getting outdoors to pursue high adventure activities and unique academic study! We will deeply explore the worlds of bird watching, hiking, scientific observation, and of course, adventure! This session will feature four field trips plus one day to explore the Nature Trail at Bethel Springs Elementary School. Please note that these field trips are catered to older, more serious adventurers and learners and that all trips are subject to change.
