Brian Quindlen
Mr. Quindlen is a fourth grade teacher at Bethel Springs Elementary School. He has been a birder and naturalist for most of his life, but his greatest passion aside from the environment is teaching! Mr. Quindlen got
masters degree from Immaculatta University in Educational Leadership. He is also a National Outdoor Leadership School Alumni (NOLS). HIs time at NOLS was spent learning expedition training in the backcountry of Alaska. Mr. McLaughlin has also been a wilderness instructor for the Tressler Wilderness School. He is currently a 5th grade teacher at Bethel Springs Elementary in the Garnet Valley School District in Garnet Valley, PA.
his start teaching at the Upper Main Line YMCA’s Environmental Education Center in Berwyn, PA. With the Y, he was able to compete and coach middle school and high school teams to compete in the World Series of Birding, a 24-hour birding competition where teams have to identify as many birds as they can by sight or sound throughout the whole state of New Jersey. He carries this passion for birding and teaching wherever he goes!
